Ken Wright Cellars Willamette Valley 2018 Pinot Noir, $22.94-$29.99, 89 points, poured a candy-apple red with a broad clear meniscus and light legs.
Smells of mulling spices, sweet red cherry, a light floral perfume, and a hint of funk were actually quite nice.
Barely a medium-bodied dry red wine with fair to good acidity and light grainy, but persistent tannins, Ken Wright managed to deliver the nose onto the palate adding a touch of citrus.
Finished well on the trailing palate with it's balanced 13.2% alcohol.
Paired fine with my BLT.
