Blue Fish 2011 Riesling, $8.99-$12.99, 86 points, appeared as a glossy straw yellow.The nose was Mac-apple with petrol notes.
Light-bodied with fair-plus acidity and a mostly one dimensional flavor profile which mirrored the nose, but subtle lemon notes with a slate-like mineral flavor did add some complexity.
Finished fair on the trailing palate, hints of peach, apricot, and the 11.5% alcohol.
