Hess (The Collection Allomi) Napa Valley 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon

Hess (The Collection Allomi) Napa Valley 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, $29.99-$34.99, 92+ points, poured core black trending crushed black currant purple/red toward the clear rim.
Luscious black fruit, mushrooms, cedar, and cloves on the nose were wonderful.
Near full-bodied with tenacious tannin, good acidity, and great flavors which mirrored the nose, as well as dried cooking herbs and anise were complex enough to warrant the outstanding score.
Finished long on mint, the trailing palate, easy spice notes, and a well integrated 14.4% alcohol.
Varietals were 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petite Sirah and 2% Petit Verdot.
