Champalou 2010 Vouvray La Cuvee des Fondraux, Loire, France, $21.25-$24.99, 87 points, appeared a light saffron yellow trending a contrasting gray at the glass shallows.
Aromatic melon with good hints of petrol and vanilla pleased.
Light-bodied with fair to good acidity and flavors which mirrored the aromas and which complimented the Granny-smith apples.
The palate flavors trailed into the okay finish of citrus, ginger, and a well integrated 12.5% alcohol.
