Flora Springs Napa Valley 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, $29.69-$42.99, 91 points, poured nearly core black trending ruby toward a crushed black currant purple/red at the broad clear wine ring.
The nose was a rather complex affair with spearmint, chocolate, truffle, plum, cedar, roses, and black currant having great depth and being quite good.
Full-bodied with good acidity and layered fine grainy tannins made for a substantial and velvety texture.
Smoky flavors of plum were offset with a tangy pomegranate.
A spicy finish was long and climatic with a warm 14.5% alcohol.
