Château Val-Joanis Luberon Rhône Valley 2016 Rosé, $8.99-$16.99, 88 points, poured the lightest Salmon pink color.
Aromatic strawberry was strong with this Rhone Rosé, and a nuanced Marshmallow Peanut Candy smell rounded off the robust fruit.
Light, crisp, appropriately acidic, and a deliciously perfect partner with my favorite food pairing of spicy Mexican cuisine.
Flavors mirrored the aromas, and finished with a modest flair of ginger and an easy 13% alcohol.
