Hoopes Hoopla, Yountville, Napa Valley 2014 Chardonnay, $13.59-$18.99, 91 points, poured a deep brass color.
Aromatic apple, honeysuckle, and green melon impressed.
The medium-body with bright acidity showed fruity, finessed faint flashes of oak , and finished long on a very acceptable vanilla, intense ginger notes, lemony citrus, and a spot-on 13.7% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my pre-Thanksgiving ham, butternut squash, and gravy mash potatoes dinner.
