Mt. Tabor Galilee 2014 Chardonnay (Israel), $14.44-$16.99, 88 points, tipped deep brass in color.
Smells of pear, juniper, and wet stone were good.
Medium to medium-plus body with fair acidity carried flavors reflective of the aromas with dragging dragon fruit characteristics which lugged deep into the long finish of striking spiciness and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired fine with our fried chicken and apple crisp dessert.
