Empire (EE) Estate Finger Lakes 2014 Riesling (New York, USA), $17.99-$19.99, 90 points, was a light brass color.
Red delicious apples, flowers, and wet slate on the nose were pleasant.
Light, crisp, and mouthwateringly acidic, this Finger Lakes Riesling was clean and stony with hints of citrus and dates.
Finished spicy on the fading palate, dry, and a well-balanced 12% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our Asian cuisine.
I bought this Riesling at the Whole Foods of Bedford.
