Covey Run Columbia Valley 2014 Riesling,
$5.99-$7.99, 89 points, was a yellow gold color.
Shy aromas of sweet pear and tangerine were vaguely influenced by a stealth petrol note.
Almost medium-bodied with good acidity and flavors that rightly mirrored the aromas.
Finished long on a ginger-ale note, star fruit, flint, and a bit sweeter (off-dry) than the 12.7% alcohol would indicate.
Paired perfectly with my spanakopita.
