Domaine Dupeuble 2016 Beaujolais

Domaine Dupeuble 2016 Beaujolais, $15.99-$17.99, 90 points, poured a pantone garnet red with quite a broad clear wine ring and milky sheeting on the glass bowl.
Pretty aromas of blueberry, sweet red raspberry, and strawberry rhubarb were complex and interesting.
Barely medium-bodied with bright acidity and surprisingly wooly tannins managed to translate the aromas onto the palate and deep into the long dry finish of white pepper, a lovely hint of cotton-candy, and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Shepherd's pie.
