Gerard Bertrand Domaine de L'Aigle Limoux 2019 Chardonnay (France), $25.49-$31.99, 89 points, was a medium straw-yellow color with a broad graying penumbra.
Aromas were pleasant soft sour apple, wet stones, and Chardonnay specific grape.
Barely a medium-bodied white wine with good acidity and flavors of subtle Necco wafer candy, good minerality, hints of lemon, and white pepper.
Finished long on the trailing palate, tart citrus, and a potent 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my apple baked pork chops.
