Jean-Michel Dupre Grands Cras 2019 Morgon, $16.14-$22.99, 90 points, poured an almost black violet red color with hanging stained-legs and a broad clear wine ring.
Aromas of cinnamon, hibiscus, and bright red cherry were excellent.
A light-medium-bodied red wine with good acidity, light tannins, and a nice reflection of the nose onto the palate with a hint of red pepper.
Finished fair on the trailing palate, a balanced 13% alcohol, and pairing well with our Thanksgiving-styled dinner.
