Novellum (France) 2020 Chardonnay, $12.74-$14.99, 86 points, was a medium straw yellow color with a broad clear wine ring.
Early sweet tropical aromas transitioned quickly to soft citrus notes and hints of roasted mandarin peel.
Not quite a medium-bodied white wine that showed fair to good acidity and rather thin, but good flavors of lemon oil, lime zest, and hints of ginger.
Finished fair on the fading palate and a soft 13% alcohol.
Paired fine with our baked white fish.
