Schmitt Söhne Rheinhessen Qualitätswein 2019 Dry Riesling, $9.89-$10.99, 86 points, was a light pale brass color with gray highlights and penumbra.
Aromas of guava, a bit of acetate, mandarin peel, and petrichor were pleasant.
A medium-bodied dry white wine with good acidity, flavors of lemon oil, tart lime zest, and traces of ginger.
Finished long, tart, lemony, and on a well-balanced 11.5% alcohol.
Paired fine with both our Asian and Mexican cuisine.
