Lange Estate Winery and Vineyards Willamette Valley 2020 Pinot Noir Classiqué, $19.33-$27.99, 89 points, poured a candy-apple red with many thin legs and a broad clear wine ring.
Aromas of cherry fruit, loam, and hints of cinnamon with a floral vibe were pleasant.
A medium-bodied dry red wine with good acidity, solid underlayment of tannin, and rich edgy flavors reflective of the aromas with a touch of not quite ripe mulberry were tasty and a bit tart.
Finished long on red fruit, a hint of black tea, a whisper peppery cinnamon, and a well-balanced 13.7% alcohol.
Paired fine with our tempura chicken fingers.
