Alexander Valley Vineyards Sonoma County 2017 Dry Rosé Of Sangiovese, $11.89-$15.99, 91 points, poured a dark salmon-pink color with a very broad clear penumbra.
Aromatic floral notes with apple, cinnamon, and red fruits were excellent.
Light-bodied with good acidity managed well a red cherry/strawberry fruit flavor profile.
Finished long on the trailing palate and hints of hibiscus and ginger.
The 12.5% alcohol was appropriate to this Rosé.
Paired well with our fruit salad and a medley of finger sandwiches.

This sounds delightful...I think Sangiovese makes a great rosato :)
