Paul Dolan Potter Valley/Mendocino County 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, $8.49-$18.99, 90 points, was a light brass color clearing well before the glass shallows.
The nose was a lovely medley of light tropical fruit notes with hints of grass and pome blossoms.
Light, crisp, and showing intense flavors of fresh-cut grass, hay, and more subtle stone fruit.
Finished long on wet slate, peach, ginger, and a potent 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our clam-bake.
