Dierberg Vineyard Santa Maria Valley 2013 Pinot Noir, $19.54-$44.99, 88 points, was a light purple/red with a clear wine ring and barely visible legs.
The nose was a dominant cherry pie.
Medium-bodied with good acidity and mellow sufficient tannins delivered typical Point Noir cherry flavors with Kadota fig and cola notes.
Finished well on the trailing palate, a dash of white pepper, and a balanced 14.8% alcohol.
