Fiddletown Cellars Amador County Old Vine 2015 Zinfandel

Fiddletown Cellars Amador County Old Vine 2015 Zinfandel, $16.99-$19.99, 90 points, poured a crystal-clear deep ruby red with a broad transparent wine ring and heavy precipitation of fat tears.
Aromas of dusty wild red raspberry with a hint of Kirsch were outstanding.
Full-bodied with good acidity and fine moderate tannins carried bright cherry cola and briar-fruit flavors.
Finished long on the trailing palate, intense pepper spices, truffle notes, and a potent 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my spicy Mexican cuisine.
