Codice Vino De La Tierra De Castilla 2011 Tempranillo, $8.99-$11.99, 87 points, poured core black grading an opaque sienna color with a clear wine ring and a bowl of moderate draping.
Soft smells of Kirsch, leather, and a floral vibe were good.
The medium body and acidity with tannins which were a bit thin at this point, exhibited a quaffing dry red wine character.
Flavors were reflective of the aromas, and were carried into the fair finish of easy spices and a well-balanced 14% alcohol.
Paired fine with my Mexican cuisine.
