Mareno Di Piave 'Bellissima' Brut Prosecco (DOC)

Mareno Di Piave 'Bellissima' Brut Prosecco (DOC), $9.79-$19.99, 90 points, was a light gold color with a big head of foam with continuous eruptions of medium sized bubbles.
The aroma was nearly 'dumb' save for a pleasant hint of white grape and toast.
Mareno Di Piave 'Bellissima' Brut Prosecco was typically light, acidic, and refreshing.
Flavors of yeast and dominantly neutral Glera grape were mysteriously pleasant with its accompaniment of fizz.
Finished pretty much as it started, but a touch of cilantro and its well balanced 11.5% alcohol tied the ribbon.
Nothing earth-shattering to describe, but still a best-buy delicious.
Having found Prosecco to be so consistently good, ironically I found myself so busy exploring other wines that I hadn't opened a bottle since September of 2016;  This week Vinogirl reminded just how good Prosecco is with spicy food, and so it was with my spicy Buffalo wings.
