Cantaloupe and tangerine aromas were okay.
This near full-bodied Chardonnay showed fair acidity, lush/smooth texture, and Napa Valley Terroir without being too over-the-top with oak or typical buttery notes that resemble slopped on buttered toast.
Clean with cold-stone notes, flavors that mirrored the aromas, and a long finish consisting of a trailing palate, crème brûlée, and a hint of the 14.5% alcohol.
The Clos Pegase Mitsuke's Vineyard Carneros-Napa Valley 2010 Chardonnay was a very good partner with my sautéed Red-fish and Crab Rangoon.
