Duckhorn Napa Valley 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, $25.60-$28.99, 92+ points, began a very light brass color trending near water clear.
The aroma was typically wonderful lemon, floral notes, and a hint of watermelon with ripe green melon.
Light-plus body was more crisp than previously tasted vintages, and carried good acidity with a lovely roundness.
Flavors mirrored the nose, finishing with a touch of the 13.5% alcohol, ginger, and some tart citrus.
Varietals were 84% Sauvignon Blanc, 16% Semillon.
Paired very well with my personal clambake!
