Mezzacorona Trentino D.O.C. Riesling,
2 for $10.00-$10.99 each, 86 points, appeared a yellow/green color, and smelled of petrol, caramel, and green apple.
The near medium body, was acidic, dry, and tart.
Flavors reflected the nose.
Finished well on the trailing palate and a hint of the 12.5% alcohol.
This was the first Italian Riesling I've come across, and at this price point I was not disappointed, though definitely a white table wine; paired well with my Australian sea bass.
