Château Potensac Médoc 2014 Bordeaux Red Wine

Château Potensac Médoc 2014 Bordeaux Red Wine, $22.52-$26.49, 89 points, poured an opaque purple/red grading ruby toward the broad clear wine ring and modestly draped glass bowl.
Lovely loam and lavender aromas were nuanced with warm brownies and ripe mulberry.
Medium-bodied with good acidity and stern tannins managed to reflect the aromas onto the palate with hints of plum and pomegranate.
Finished long and peppery with a more dominant earthy plum and a spot-on 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our meat-lovers pizza.
Varietals were 40% Merlot, 39% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot.
