NAPA Cellars 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, $14.99-$17.99, 90 points, was a light pale brass color.
Aromas of orange peel, fresh-cut grass, cantaloupe, pome blossoms, and Necco Wafers were rich.
Light-bodied with good acidity managed-well the flavors which were reflective of the aromas with a hint of melon rind.
Finished nicely on the trailing palate and the 13.9% alcohol inspirited ginger notes.
Paired perfectly with my seafood medley of Pacific Dover sole fillets, cod dumplings, and stuffed scallops on the half-shell.
