Roux Père and Fils Bourgogne 2015 Chardonnay, (France)

Roux Père and Fils Bourgogne 2015 Chardonnay, (France), $16.14-$21.99 89 points, was a bright glossy gold color.
Aromas of apple pie and lemon zest were quite shy.
Just barely medium-bodied, the acidity was good and lent itself to the wine's flavors which were reflective of the aromas, an 'airy' and crisply refreshing, though one dimensional, character, aiding the deliciousness of this French Chardonnay.
Finished nicely on soft oak notes, intense ginger, and a modest European 12.5% alcohol.
Paired well with my ham steak, mac and cheese, and sautéed spinach.
