Banfi Castello San Angelo Toscana 2017 Pinot Grigio (IGT), $13.59-$18.99, 92 points, poured a light brass color with a light lime-green sheen and clearing at the glass edge.
Aromatic tropical fruit nose with a floral vibe was amazing.
Light-plus body with good acidity and a profoundly complex fruitiness with hints of yellow mango, kiwi, and pineapple challenges the notion that Pinot Grigio tastes 'like nothing'!
Finished long on the trailing palate, good ginger notes, and a spot-on 13% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my broiled fresh wild-caught Atlantic Halibut.
Italian Pinot Grigio Vendemmia (Vintage) 2017 Has Finally Begun To Trickle Into New Hampshire! Yea!
