Tenuta Col d'Orcia Olmaia Sant'Antimo 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon DOC (Tuscany, Italy)

Tenuta Col d'Orcia Olmaia Sant'Antimo 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon DOC (Tuscany, Italy), $48.44-$56.99, 93 points, compelled me to broadly and vaguely describe this Montalcino Cabernet as delicious, pure, clean, rarified, enduring, a tad creamy, and rather straight-forward.
The color was widely black with a penumbra of purple/red at the clear wine ring and glass bowl of fat legs.
Aromatic toasty blackberry, cedar, and roses were outstanding.
Near full-bodied with good acidity and a firm underlayment of tannin carried lovely flavors of violets, blackberries, and nuanced coffee liqueur.
Finished long on the trailing palate, white pepper, plum notes, and a potent 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my rare New Zealand rack of spiced lamb.
