Bodega Catena Zapata High Mountain Vines Mendoza 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (Argentina), $12.99-$17.99, 88 points, poured broadly black with cloudy purple/red encroaching upon the clear wine ring, and the glass bowl showed light legs.
Aromas of plums, cedar, coffee, and subtle black currant were just okay for me.
Near full-bodied with good acidity and soft residual tannins carried the aromas onto the palate and deep into the long spicy finish with a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my BBQ baby-back ribs.
