Brancaia Tre Rosso Toscana IGT 2014 Red Wine, $17.99-$20.99, 91 points, poured an opaque sienna color with a transparent rim ring and moderate glass draping.
Aromas of earthy cherry fruit, leather, a floral vibe, and blackberry were good.
This sleek near full-bodied red wine with bright acidity and tight tannins managed to deliver truffle, cherry fruit, and tart pomegranate flavors on a smooth clean plank.
Finished long with hints of iron, easy pepper spices, and a comfortable 13.5% alcohol.
Varietals were Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
