Stonestreet Estate Vineyards Alexander Valley 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, $28.99-$34.99, 91 points, was an impregnable purple/red terminating with sienna and transparent rings at the glass wall of thick legs.
Perfumed aromas of blackberry liqueur, bacon fat, and chocolate-chip cookie dough were almost too rich and dense, but as the wine breathed for some time it morphed beautifully into a cedar-like black currant with earthy and floral tones (a rather complex bouquet).
Full-bodied with good acidity and big supportive tannins managed a panoply of flavors suggestive of the bouquet plus plum.
Finished long, dense, and spicy with a restrained 13.5% alcohol.

This wine has to be a great bargain, but I fear perhaps a high pH AND some brett?
