L De Lyeth Sonoma County 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, $7.64-$14.99, 87 points, appeared with a clear rim, moderately leggy glass bowl, and deep purple/red colors.
Smells of leather with anise and blackberry with just a hint of juniper were pleasant.
This full-bodied red wine with fair-plus acidity and mildly drying tannins was a bit herbal and carried good plum, blackberry, mulberry, licorice, cocoa, and mushroom flavors.
Finished okay on the straight-forward fading palate and an easy 13.5% alcohol.
Paired fine with my steak and cheese wraps.
