Smells of leather, chocolate, and a whisper of sandalwood were surprisingly interesting.
Near full-bodied with good acidity and still sound supportive tannins managed to preserve much of its black fruitiness.
Finished long, but dry, on enduring hints of pepper spice, pomegranate, and a well-integrated 13.5% alcohol.
