L De Lyeth Sonoma County 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

L De Lyeth Sonoma County 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, $8.99-$12.99, 88 points, poured core black grading purple/red to orange/red at the bleeding clear wine ring and lightly draped bowl.
Smells of leather, chocolate, and a whisper of sandalwood were surprisingly interesting.
Near full-bodied with good acidity and still sound supportive tannins managed to preserve much of its black fruitiness.
Finished long, but dry, on enduring hints of pepper spice, pomegranate, and a well-integrated 13.5% alcohol.
