Vigilance Red Hills, Lake County 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, $8.49-$19.99, 90 points, was a light brass color with green highlights while clearing at the glass shallows.
The nifty nice nose began distinctively with pineapple evolving toward a more honeydew melon.
Light-bodied with vigorous acidity and bright flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, and pineapple were tasty.
Finished long, tart, and citrusy nuanced with cumquat and a 13.9% alcohol.
Paired fine with my Portuguese sardines.
