Domaine Des Sénéchaux 2011 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, $42.49-$49.99, 91 points, poured a bright ruby red grading to an even brighter brick red, debris ladened meniscus, and stained fat legs.
Aromatic strawberry, red raspberry, pencil, and a floral vibe were lovely.
Full-bodied red wine with fair-plus acidity, mild tannins, and luscious flavors of Kirsch, red fruit, earth, and intensely warm, almost hot, alcohol (15%) inspirited pepper spices were quite exciting, and lingered long.
