Josef Weinberg 'Radiance' Rheinhessen 2016 Riesling (Germany), $8.09-$8.99, 88 points, was a light brass color, almost grey with a yellow cusp.
Aromas were soft petrol, refreshing minerality, and a floral vibe.
Light-bodied off-dry white wine with bright acidity and good flavors of guava, a bit of pineapple, and citrus notes.
Though the early palate was a tad weak, the rest was quite tasty.
Finished fair on the fading palate, a slight white pepper spiciness, and a well-balanced 9.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our Chinese cuisine.
