Tangent Paragon Vineyard, Edna Valley, 2016 Sauvignon, Blanc, $10.19-$14.99, 88 points, poured a medium brass color with a yellow sheen and clearing near the glass rim.
Aromas were soft, but hints of lemon and pome blossoms were pleasant.
Light bodied with bright acidity managed slightly sour flavors reflective of the aromas, but were nicely punctuated and carried long into the finish marked by flavors of sweet hay, ginger, and lemon with a spot-on 13.5% alcohol.
Paired well with our deep fried Sea scallops.
