Aromas wafted very floral, very fruity, and very lovely.
A more than medium-bodied red wine from Italy which showed great balance, was rather smooth with a supportive underlayment of tannin, and excellent flavors of red raspberry, black tea, and subtle herbal notes.
Finished long on red licorice, a whisper of cherry cola, pleasant pepper spices, and a spot-on 14% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with our delicious Fremont pizzeria special pizza.
