Aromas wafted warm savory and fragrant floral.
Texturally smooth full-bodied dry red wine with good acidity and mellow tannins supported by a firm underlayment.
Flavors of coffee, truffles, slightly chalky blackberry, and pomegranate were excellent.
Finished on the trailing palate, juicy, black-grape skin, and a well-balanced 13.5% alcohol.
Varietals were 75% Merlot and 25% Sangiovese.
