Arbor Crest Columbia Valley 2011 Riesling, $14.00, 86 points, appears a very light golden color.
The aroma, though rather faint and dull, shows hints of cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and the slightest of petrol notes.
The near medium body carries good acidity yet is another 2011 Columbia Valley Riesling with sweetness up-front, but with this Arbor Crest, that sweetness is more pervasive.
Neutral white grape flavors with a hint of passion fruit are pleasant and trail long into the finish.
I bought this wine for the full price at the Londonderry Hannaford's Supermarket because there was only three bottles left, which indicates that a number of people liked this Moscato-like Riesling more than I did, but this wine won't find "safe harbor" in my cellar.
