Bolla 2012 Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie IGT, $6.99-$7.99, 88 points, appears clear with a light brass finish.
An easy floral green melon aroma though not distinctive is still good.
The light bodied straight-forward white wine from Italy breaks crisp and uncomplicated with good acidity, and a purely white grape flavor offset with hints of lime and fresh juicy honeydew melon which are carried gently into the fair finish garnished with tangerine.
This is a more subtle wine than a gulper, but will suit your pocket-book and your friends at any clam-bake.
I bought this at the Market Basket Supermarket in Londonderry with a coupon.
