Jaboulet Côtes du Rhône Parallele 45 Rosé

Jaboulet Côtes du Rhône Parallele 45 Rosé, $11.99-$14.99, 89 points, appears more peach than Rosé, but it is a vibrant peach of high clarity.
The sweet strawberry, watermelon, lime, and Kiwi on the nose is subtle and lovely.
This Rosé is quite dry on a light bed of good acidity and just a hint of tannin.
Flavors mirror the nose with some floral notes, but trends toward the neutral side of Rosé.
Finishes on a trailing palate with gentle ginger notes and a touch of heat (13% alcohol).
I paired this Rosé with Asian cuisine and found it delightful. Later we had it with hot Buffalo-wings, and there too, it was great! This is a versatile summertime refreshing wine.
Varietals are 50% Grenache, 40% Cinsault, 10% Syrah.

  1. This sounds nice...what's there not to love about Rhône wines?
