Montsarra Brut Cava, $16.99, 91 points, begins with a lovely light gold color and good effervescence.
An interesting and delightful cherry blossom, apple, lemon and vanilla aroma continues the excitement in a wine that has been hit or miss for me.
The light-plus body is both crisp and creamy as it coats your lips and mouth with lemon-vanilla meringue and lastly apple flavors, yet has the acidity to keep things buzzing and lively.
Finishes on a trailing palate with ginger and lots of tingling sensations.
I bought this at the Harvest market in Bedford.
