Silverado Napa Valley 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, $39.33-$59.99, 92+ points, begins opaque in the glass core trending toward the leggy transparent rim with a high clarity purple red.
Cedar, lavender, and blackberry on the nose, though barely a whisper, is quite nice.
The near full body carries good acidity and age worthy tannin which seems to piggyback the flavors of cola, sweet red cherry, juicy black currant, blackberry, and licorice.
This very dry Silverado Cabernet finishes on a trailing palate with spice and a hint of heat (14.5% alcohol).
