Ca' Montini Terre di Valfredda Trentino 2010 Pinot Grigio, $11.04-$15.99, 89+ points, appears as a strikingly bright straw yellow in color.
The lemon zest, honeydew melon, and granite aroma though not complex was good.
Having a near medium body, I yet found this wine to be ironically crisp and creamy at the same time; having bright acidity and tart citrus flavors blended with luscious and juicy green melon not too sweet not dry either, made for a surprisingly good tasting white wine.
The finish was just okay with just a hint of white pepper with mineral notes (nothing outstanding), but the purity of flavor in this Pinot Grigio impressed me. (Almost Riesling-like!)
Usually, when I buy an elaborate bottle I think: "when the wine isn't that good, market it with a fancy package, but not true with CM!

I'm intrigued by the "white pepper" component, sounds interesting.
