Alexander Valley Vineyards (Wetzel Family Estates) 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon

Alexander Valley Vineyards (Wetzel Family Estates) 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, $15.99-$19.99, 88 points, poured core black grading Bordeaux-red at the clear rim and a moderately leggy glass bowl.
Smells of loam, roses, and black currants were excellent.
Near full-bodied with good acidity and a mellow, but supportive underlayment of tannin showed lovely flavors of black fruit, mushrooms, licorice, and chocolate.
Finished long, smooth, and delicious with a well-integrated 14% alcohol.
Alexander Valley Vineyards seems to always deliver a good yeoman's Cali Cab.
Paired great with my spinach/hamburger goulash.
