Girl and Dragon North Coast 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon

Girl and Dragon North Coast 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, $9.34-$13.99, 88 points, poured an opaque purple/red grading brighter at the broad clear wine ring and moderately leggy glass bowl.
Aromas of herbal black currant, blackberry, truffle, cedar, and cocoa were fluctuating, furtive, and fleeting.
Near full-bodied with good acidity and strident thin tannins managed an earthy fruit flavor profile nuanced with red raspberry.
Finished well on the trailing palate, developing spiciness, and an appropriate 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my beefy mixed vegetable lasagna.

  1. Did this wine taste like it would improve with a little cellaring? It is only a 2015 after all.
