Mazzei Philip Toscana 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon (IGT) Italy

Mazzei Philip Toscana 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon (IGT) Italy, $31.44-$36.99, 90 points, poured an opaque sienna color with a transparent ring and glass wall raining with dense legs.
The lovely aromas were toasty, fruity, and floral nuanced with juniper.
Near full-bodied with bright acidity and fine grainy tannins presented the palate with cherry cola, earthy plum, and tarragon flavors.
Finished long on the trailing palate, pomegranate, fig, a hint of mint, and a soft 13.5% alcohol.

  1. Off to Tuscany later this year and I do plan to eat and drink plenty, I don't have the palate you and vinogirl have but I do try!

I don't doubt or second guess your palate; seems what ever you put your 'hand' to, you do it exceedingly well!
Oh, bye-the-way, I've seen your girls all over YouTube; they are stars!

    1. VG: I thought so too! Not inexpensive, but a worthy wine.
